DJ I use YouTube to MP3 downloader (by MediaHuman - MacOS) for the past 4 years and it's literally the most straightforward app you could get.
You only need to find the video you'd like to download, copy the URL straight from the address bar and paste it onto the app. It works like magic, is free, and downloads any metadata and album art as well.
If you set it up correctly, you can download full playlists (using the same URL method above) and albums. Additionally, you can set the app to automatically download whatever you copy onto the clipboard.
It also works with other sites like Soundcloud, Vimeo etc.
